You have to sign up with the WCVFA. Applications are in the back of the newsletter. I'm not sure where else you can sign up. I believe it is $10 to join.

The peekskill show was excellent, as was Ossining's on Friday - Mike - I'm suprised you didn't go to China Peer and go in with CVAC - I took the ride with a couple of members, and we got in no problem. Getting out was the hard part!

I say my first move is to fire Art. :chainsaw: Now why would you want to do that to a nice guy like me? (lets go with 2 padlocks and a dead-bolt on the closet door)
-
I say we lock him in the closet anyway...

Mamaroneck judged their own parade last night.

I still can't believe they let Pudge drive anything bigger than the rescue - how does he see over the steering wheel?

http://www.dumpalink.com/media/1112271100 Try this on for size, Mr. Bigglesworth!

I must have walked by you about 4 times then! On a side note - I got plenty of shots of the parade - practically filled up my camera. The shots from the beginning of the parade came out great, some of the ones after it got a little darker left a little to be desired. All picts will be submitted this coming weekend.

I just got a fresh set of batteries for the camera. This should be a good one if the weather holds up.

I beg to differ about it being the BEST place - That in my opinon is the Beechmont Tavern - North Ave and Beechmont Rd in New Rochelle (Right next to Sta 3). They have excellent wings, AND it's famous too. In Don Mclean's song "American Pie" - the line where he says "Drove the Chevy to the levy, but the levy was dry" He is reffering to the Beechmont Tavern. He frequented there during his days at Iona College

Does he have a good side??

Their cannoli cakes are excellent as well. Having a sister interned there was good for the taste buds, not so good for the hips.
-
Good luck with it! I'm sure it will provide many years of good service.
-
Yeah - they'll take a felon with 60 college credits, but an outstanding citizen with no criminal record, but no college credits doesn't even get considered.
-
At my sister's graduation party we had a nepolian cake from homestyle - it was a huge hit. I don't think i've ever had a better cake in my life
-
I say we throw him a good old fashion blanket party too, but that's just my opinion.

Right now I'm too tired to come up with suggestions about how to run the drill...but it's probably better to PM or email the suggestions, so the attending juniors don't know what to expect. After all that's why it's training.

In Croton as well, each member is issued 2 tags. Interior firefighters have yellow tags, and exterior have red tags. The tags are laminated, and when you cut them open, they contain info that could be used god forbid you get hurt. Ie: Blood type, Medications, emergency contacts, etc.
-
I know Croton has one, probably buried under god knows what in the basement of the Grand St firehouse. I'll ask around to make sure we still have it
-
Yes - tones are sent over the VHF, voice is simulcasted over UHF and VHF
-
I'll work on Croton - shouldn't be a problem
-
Don't forget the OVAC bike as well - she did a hell of a job! =D>

Joe -Just hope you don't have to back into the parking spot!!!
