  2. Well, it may be a little late to have posted this, BUT...... I'm going to be down in the New Rochelle area bringing out my Irish side with a few friends. Not sure exactly where I'll be going yet, but if anyone wants to get together and put a few back, send me a text message. 914-424-2140 or email 9144242140@messaging.nextel.com. Be safe everyone!!

  6. Ahem....Who's the tool, 68-28????
  7. Some basics are usually a pair of shears, tape, PEN, penlight, 02 key, and gloves. In reality though, it's really a matter of personal preference. Those are the things i usually have on me.

  10. Since Squadco119 and ONLOCATION covered my favorite RIG, i figured I'd give pictures of my 3 Favorite Trucks. There's a tie between my two favorite sticks, L47 from North White Plains, and L16 From Eastchester. And my favorite TL is TL11 from New Rochelle.
  11. Thanks for all the answers, i find it very interesting, especially since there are no markings on the car. Now if only they left them on while doing speed traps.
  12. I was coming back accross I-84 the other day from New Britian, and I passed a few CTSP cars driving the opposite direction, and it puzzled me becuase they weren't operating in "emergency mode," but they had steady red and blue lights illuminated on the ends of the lightbars. Is this normal, and does anyone know why they do it? I'd imagine it's for easy ID of the police car, but i'm still curious. Thanks in advance.
  13. While I never got the pleasure of meeting Bob, I did get to talk to him a few times here and there on the phone. It was always a pleasure deailing with him. My condolences go out to all the friends and family.
  14. The new Buffalo Wild Wings in New Roc City is very good, as is the Beechmont Tavern on North Ave next to Station 3. A little triva, the Beechmont Tavern is what Don McLean is referring to in the song American Pie when he sings, "drove the chevy to the levy, but the levy was dry." Also, firehouse grille in Peekskill - 1,2,3,4 alarm and Haz-mat wings. - 4 alramers are hot, but edible. Haz-mat, that's a different story

  19. And directly out of the mouth of Deputy Chief Kelly, "You really gotta have an address in the city (of New Rochelle) to be considered."
  20. Hmm, cold - one more reason i don't like open jump seats..... And of course, the new engine should be done around JUNE! At least it'll have A/C though! As for the storm- csf forgot something for the list - Stokes basket to go sleigh riding in!

  23. Awesome looking rigs guys - good luck with them One question though - is that a rear steamer connection in the rear compartment on E91? If so - awesome idea, nothing like another large diameter intake that you can draft from. Love the lightbars too - where can i get one for "Utility 648?"
