Greenville runs L4, a 75' 2001 Pierce Dash Quint, along with E150, a 2001 Pierce Dash pumper. Greenville has used a quint since about 1990 when we got rid of our Mack tower ladder. The quint works good for our district because if we ran a regular ladder, we would probably have to run a 2nd due engine as well.

I think the Greenburgh Tech. Rescue Team is made up of GPD members as well as members of Greenville, Hartsdale & Fairview Fire Departments (I'm not 100% sure). The truck is housed at GPD Headquarters.

A few weeks back I was in Port Chester and past an abandoned firehouse opposite the new shopping center in the downtown area. I was wondering what was up with it and why/ how long it's benn empty as well as what companies where housed there. Thanks!!

I don't know how the apparatus numbers are assigned, however car numbers are assigned by using the departments ID # (ex. Greenville - #215) and then adding the car # (ex. 2151, 2152 etc.). The apparatus assingment list can be found here: http://www.westchestergov.com/emergserv/ap...tus/APP2005.pdf
