At Sloper they took it one step further than just filling out an accident report. Regardless of nature of the MVA, be it PDAA or PIAA, you immediatly went out of service after the appropriate reporting, reported to Medicus and gave a urine sample for drug/alcohol testing. I thought this policy was unusual, but you know what. It made sense.

My question is: have there ever been any documented (or even rumored) cases of abuse of the Knox key to gain entry to a structure?

Do they do anything special, or do they just get a nifty hat?

Hope you send a card to whomever (s)he is for the holidays. Heck, address it to "mystery hero" if you need to!

So much for prioritizing by importance. Can't wait until the DPW is on fire and you have to tell them to hold on, you're shoveling the apron.

Very interesting. I'll have to take a closer look. Might have to dust off the old B/W PDA for this one.

That has got to be one of the worst sites I've seen recently. The product must not be much better.

Wendy's definatly beats McD's and BK hands down.

Care to share what it does? One of the docs in Northern Westchester has a PDA with the full PDR on it. He uses it all the time. Even pulled it out on a recent medical control phone call to check on a drug interaction.

...and to all a good night.

Christias is usually ended in the Christian calendar with the feast of the Epiphany (when the three wise men visited Jesus in Bethlehem). This is celebrated on January 6th.

I'd be careful with the saw. Make sure you don't cut through something hazardous that might in the trunk You never know what they have in there. Proceed with caution.

Went there the other day for the first time. Pretty damn good chili. Plenty of fire, plenty of taste. (Not just a ton of heat and no flavor). Become a popular place for my coworkers. ;->

The probably cover all three major bands: UHF, VHF Hi, and VHF Lo. The are probably Motorolas (looks like it anyways) and Motorola does not make a dual or tri band radio.

Too much free time Keith?

Congratulations guys. Tho the real congrats go out when your hard work comes to fruition and one of the PADs is credited with it's first save. (Or has that happened already?) =D>

Thats a mighty big what if. How often does it happen? Rarely...tho in NYC, it's more common than up here. If you are relocating to cover a district, there is NO REASON to use lights and sirens. Thats like me using lights and sirens to go do a football game standby. What if someone goes down before the game starts? Then they call to report the condition and then do what everyone esle does.....wait.

Do they really have the power to do that?

The newspaper implied that the nursing home was to be closed as well. Now I know United had thier own long term nursing care center on site, so I don't know if this means Port Chester Nursing Home as well. I think they may be a seperate entity.
