Same here ALS... As DOC said, just making the point. I know you're a volly, but it's the guys who take the job way too far and think they're much better because they're paid but it's really the same thing only different is a pay check. Not trying to start a war :wink:

Key is in the car already, and the bunkers are next to the bed. The tones drop, the bunkers are on and by the time the dispatch is done im in the car out the door and half dressed ! LOL

Why get pissed off everybody... The more police cars with blue lights, the more people who are going to be confused and pull over for a firemen thinking it's a cop! :wink: And I've def. been the A$$*ole at the red light many of times! LOL

Westchester County is trying to start a TRT which is not up and running yet however they do train on every last tuesday of every month at the WCFTC at 7 PM. Any other questions about it private message me. I have a schedule of the next upcoming drills

Besides that a fire engine on the scene of an accident is great b/c you never know what you're going to have when you pull up! Might as well send em, if you don't need them then send them back DOC made a few good points, many firefighters are either CFR's or EMT's, and if they're not, they are doing something else such as putting speedy dry on the ground, making the scene safer, cutting the battery, putting out a car fire, securing air bags, stabilizing p/t's for when the ambulance gets there... and the list goes on

I am not sure of exact ages but 3 children who are very young in age so it's gonna be pretty rough times. Very sad. Great guy too very sad what happened :cry:

That is so sad to hear. A local police officer from Ossining passed away i believe saturday of a heart attack at age 44. Unfortunately his children found him. Very sad story. Thoughts and prayers for both families

Ahhh Poor Mike... A quint is where its at Ladder 47... SWEET! But in all honesty good luck to Briarcliff with their new ladder truck purchase. Hopefully everything goes well and they get that donation. Sounds pretty sweet
