Either a special Unit designed for long lays of LDH or multiple engines doing a water shuttle. Doesnt sound like there was much room for water shuttles tho so i would go with the LDH. Or like you said there was a water source, so just get a floating pump or a portable pump and start drafting out of the closest water source.
