I know in putnam that the fire investigation team uses it the hazmat team uses it and brewster and mahopac were doing a trial before they let the rest of the county use it.

-
Nice truck I gotta say i like the green and white too.
-
Idk it just looks really orange to me.
-
Me to that question was asked in another thread and the answer was it's int the works or something along that line.
-
I'm just wondering why does the picture look really orange?
-
Looks like alot of smoke what stage was the fire at when you took the pics?
-
If you look at the first pic of the back it looks like there might be some dual talons inside.
-
It's plain but I like it nice and simple.
-
Yeah if you kinda squint your eyes a little bit it does looklike "bobs"
-
Why is there a foam truck there the day after I mean there wasn't any fire so was there really a need for it to be there?
-
Looks like a nice rig I was gonna say where's the elephant but then I saw it on the door.
-
Yeah the last 2 where red there's pics of them on their website. http://www.somersvfd.com/apparatus.htm

Thanks to everyobody who answered my question. Sorry for all the questions but I have one more if you join the fd can you go on the "VAC" calls or no you have to be in the "VAC" to go on their calls.

Yeah I saw one jumping in from the helicopter on the footage that all the news channels were playing over and over. If you look on the left of this pic from Lohud.com you can see one of the divers. and you can also see the diver jumping form the chopper like I said I saw in these pics from Yahoo news and this is another pic from Yahoo news of the coast guard helicopter that responded which answers the question that was asked before about if they made it to the scene or not. o

thanks for the clarification.

I looked on the NYSP website and it doesn't say anything about the hours of the Helicopter but their SCUBA teams are on call 24/7 for all troops except L,T,and NYC. So I guess if the operation god forbid turned into a recovery that is one more resource you could call on.
-
Looks nice good luck with it. We should be getting ours soon. How many ambulances do you guys have and is the explorer in the pic a paramedic fly car or a bls fly car just wondering thanks.
-
Why does the pd command a water/ice rescue wouldn't that call for an fd response ?
-
Does anybody know if the FDNY SCUBA truck is always staffed or is this a resource that they staff when they need it and also aren't some of the members of the rescue compaines divers?
-
Doesn't the NYSP helicopter only run like 9-5 monday through friday ?
-
USCG sector NY just issued an advisement before to all marine vessels that they have established a temporary security area where the plane is and they also stated that they want all marine traffic to be on the look out for debris floating in the river from the GWB down.
