That's an interesting way to fight a fire.In one of the pics there are two guys pouring a 5 gallon jug of water on it and in another pic it looks like a guy is trying to put it out with a fire extinguisher not sure though I could be wrong.

Steve you can only dump from one side at a time but the three chutes is a good idea though because then you don't have to worry about which side of the truck is by the folding tank.

From the pictures it just looks like there was just alot of smoke the building is still standing and at least they saved their engine .

It seems like sterling is very popular a lot of departments have chosen the sterling chassis for their tankers. If you look on us tanker's website. And there are many different fields that utilize there chassis besides the fire field.

The all red one that I posted a pic of is a mass Casualty unit like it says on the side that's the only red ambulance I could find on there website, the other one the red and white one is a medic . Where did you see the one that you posted was it in the washington or in a suburb just curious ?

Yeah I was on Dfcd's website the other day looking at there trucks because my mom was going to washington and it just so happened that I spotted these trucks so when you said that I knew what you were talking about .

I was out at Kent firehouse last night looking at this beast it was delivered on10/8 and man is this thing big the pictures do it no justice it is indeed LARGE I didn't take any pics though.

I've never heard about this being done until this artivle but that is a really cool idea like everyone else is saying way to be creative and save lives at the same time .
