What is the NREMT exam ? I'm just wondering because I can't figure out what it stands for I know what EMT stands for but not NR.

What's per-diem ?

It's actually not to excessive.What if your doing an extrication that requires you to cut up two cars and you only have one set of extrication tools are you gonna wait for somebody else to be done with the other car or wait for another rescue to come ?

That's what I thought . Our department did a car fire drill last year but we only got to use the line after the fire was k/d.

According to the call counter on the Lcfd website they did 234 fire calls and 572 ems calls for a total of 806 but December isn't done yet so I don't know what the total is for the whole year.

That's pretty cool I've seen that done to a house but not a firetruck that's pretty awesome.

Are there even any muster around to take it to ? The only muster I know of is the Engine 260 muster and I think there is one on Long Island too.
