  11. Spoke with the lady who owns the flower shop in that strip, she said that she moved there in 1983 right after the fire. The fire started in the dry cleaners either 1981 or 1982.

  16. In 1987 & 1988 it served as TL-75 before 75 got its' new 10 wheeler Mack Tower Ladder, which is now spare TL-77. By the way the brakes were terrible on that old tower ladder. Love the picture of E-304.
  17. Very good, and good luck to L-74 with thier new rig.
  18. MFY do you know why they call it the hall?
  19. New Haven FL9 The 1,800-hp Fl9 was built at the request of the New York, New Haven& Hartford. The railroad wanted adiesle locomotive that could also be underground in third- rail electrified territory into Grand Central Station. The FL-9 had a third- rail pickup shoe mounted on each side of its six-wheel Flexicoil rear trucks, which were unique to this model. Sixtywere built;30 1,750-hp units in 1957 and 30 locomotives from September through November 1960. These were the last F units built.
  20. If my eyes serve me right, that is a F unit, not a FL9. In the rear there are only 2 set of axles which makes it a F unit. Any F or FL9 pictures are great especially the New Haven scheme. Keep them coming guys . An old New York Central fan.
  21. Flynn Manor 334 Riverdale Ave.
  22. Maybe Ford makes them for the funeral business, such as a hearse.
