How did the school districts get left out? Maybe Andy does not to want ruffle some feathers, or is there too big of a lobby. Greenburgh consolidated in the 1960's (hartsdale and central 7) schools and is there a great savings?

If there were to be a town wide fire department it should include all areas of the town patrolled by the PD. This would include the Fire Protection Districts.

If there were to be a consolidation would that include the fire protection districts?? Taking away the FPD funding to the village fire departments would lead to an uproar and a quick vote out of office. That's one way to get rid of him.

I take exception to your statements about my department. Poorly staffed sounds like you have an axe to grind. I suggest you look at runs for the three, and staffing. We can all make statements but make sure you have the right information.

Why do you leave out the other 2 Greenburgh Depts?

There is a form from Westchester Human resources that is a job classification form. It ask questions that pertain to the job title you are working in. The local should make inquiry with them, you have the right to file same. Be prepared that the Human resources does not work at lighting speed. This was done in Greenburgh in 2002. Good luck.

Do you really know what combining the 3 Greenburgh Fire Districts entail? The one point the Town will never venture to is the fire protections districts. If you combine the 3 districts, the protection districts should be part of the unincorporated area Town fire district.
