I was looking at the pics from the Yonkers job yesterday and at the bottom it says "Photos by YPD459, A division of DFFD227" I just thought it looked pretty funny like that...what's behind it?

What's the problem with Pierce...the paint..big deal..My engine---has a pump, it has water and some hose...no frills...It has a pump, some water and, some hose....Isn't that an Engine Co. right there. I don't need a light tower or whatever you people think(not trying to be an @$$) but an engine Co. is an engine Co.....we might be old fashoned, but that's just how it is......We're here to get the job done...not to play games.

Outstanding!!!!!!!!! lol Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, the whole point I was trying to make is that in a certain fire company you have members that are drivers and the die hards that come and clean up and stuff like that. its just not feasable to have outsiders driving our rig and being let into the firehouse..you know what I mean?
-
what good is a FF if he wrecks on the way to the firehouse or to the scene...no good.....take your time out there.
-
what if we don't '''know''' him?
-
they've gotten some rigs donated since 9/11...the money they alotted for apparatus that wasn't spent should go for this type of equipment.
-
if only everyone would understand you, Car2037, the world would be a better place. I like that idea of yours...but I don't think it would work in most firehouses.
