mrbolz - in port chester, all of our apparatus is pierce except for the 2 ladder trucks(one sutphen and one seagrave and e-61 is a seagrave). my rig is a 1999 Pierce Lance and the only problem we've had with it is some paint peeling off the cab. no mechanical difficulties.

i haven't got a permit yet. i'll just wait til the spring for that. i am the catch n release type unless im out on a boat catching some blues or grouper. i went to the town park in pound ridge the other day and cought a bass tho. im kind of impaitent tho so that's why i was asking where the best spots are...i hate waitng for the fish to come to me lol sounds pretty rediculous right ](*,)

in my village, they are all the same color: red with a silver bonnet. there are about 4 or 5 that are yellow tho. over the years they replaced some of the yellow ones with red ones and painted over some yellow ones with red.

im runnin a Realistic PRO-2028, a Radioshack PRO 508 and a PRO-70, a Realistic Patrolman PRO-77 HI-LO antique, and two Minitor II pagers(one is my fathers and one is mine). i have the better charger with the speaker :-P

the i860 is a nice phone. a few of my buddys have it. it's pretty easy to use after getting used to the additional features for the camera and what to do with the picture after you take it. i currently have the i830. u know u can watch tv on the thing if u subscribe to it. i hope everyone knows about the 10% discount or whatever it is for firefighters...

the real ladder 31 is back in service...ladder 41 looked good in the firehouse c'mon lol

in Port Chester we respond to auto alarms just the same as is the home owner called it in. Three engines, one ladder, and one rescue. if it is in rye brook, on of their rigs will respond as well. even if the alarm company or home/business owner calls back to report a false alarm, all units still respond without a 10-20 until the first engine or chief is on location to confirm. if it's at a school or at United Hospital then it's a full dept. response.
