ok kentland 33 guys are great guys they know thier stuff. GoshenFD to answer your question i know a couple of guys form thier and met them at a show and talked to them and asked them if i could come and ride and they said yes so i go down once every 2 months or so. GoshenFD PM if you want more info Affordable housing is not every affordable any way. My old department was looking into getting affordable housing and they found out that only about 2 or 3 people could qualify or it. Personally a live in program in such towns as Bedford, Bedford Hills, Somers, Mamaroneck Village, cause they are busy departments. Pleasentville, Briarcliff and maybe Mount Kisco cause they are close to Pace. The mainpoint in having a live-in program is creat a great fire dpeartment and get out fast. Which is good for the community. If you had a live in program in a fire department that has a big coverage area then they could get out faster, and also if they run ems it would be easy for to get and they would not have tone out the department over 60 control they would only have to set the house tones off. I would like to hear form alsfirefighter and Homer J what thier feelings about live-in program in general and would or could it work in westchester

i think that the stairs are a i great idea cause it makes it easier to get up and down for the roof top storage. Squad 67 in East Fishkill has the stairs on the rig and underneath then they have a pump panel it is a great idea. Rescue 1 also puts canopy on their truck to help make a rehab area.

This is a sweet truck I love the way that it looks. I love the 4 door truck with the service body. Safety Signal Industries did a great job with the lighting package. Congrats to Katonah for this great looking truck and Good Luck with the new truck.

Also is the new tandem axle rescue going to be able to fit now the streets of yonkers and also what was the reason for going to a bigger rescue. also is it true that yonker might be getting a tiller

http://www.mcfd.net/images/e454new2.jpg Engine 454 is a 2003 Pierce/Lance that has a 2,000GPM Pumper with 600 gal. tank and 150 gal. foam tank. The engine has a 150' foam reel w/ 150 gal. foam tank. It carries 1,700' 5" LDH, 3 deluge guns (1 remote controlled, 2 portable). Why would you need this many deck guns on a truck. This truck is set up for a defensive ops. This is a great looking engine with a rescue style back. When I saw this truck I thought that it was interesting.

Good Luck to the Harstdale Fire Department. This should greatly improve the Harstdale Fire Department. I have seen the tight quaters in station 1. I hope we will seen a possible Quint or Squad out of Station 1.
