Future Fireman, it speaks for itself. Mike

Seth, I agree with you on this one. Ladder pipes really should be made standard on ALL aerials. Not only would it help in the event of 'the big one', but some places the straight stick can go down ( like extend the aerial down an alley) and set up a water pipe where the area is too narrow for a platform. Just my opinion Mike

what i don't get is how he was able TO MOVE THE TRUCK. I thought that once the aerial was engaged, the axles and wheels LOCK UP. Mike

In reference to 'flat' style, does FDNY's LED's count as flat or do they bend light more than i've seen on youtube? Mike
-
I think it's 200-300 feet for pumpers, and 500 feet for ladders. Mike

I know of an Air force base around here that has a Red & White Oshkosh. I think it's reccomended, but not mandatory. Mike

Simply put, if you have a possibility for a large plane crash with multiple casualties, it is wise to staff a full-time FD and/ or Emergency Management agency to moderate everything going on over there. Mike

I'd reccomend that when you go to firehouses for apparatus, etc. pics. Tell them about the sites, the products, etc...... I'm pretty sure FF's will sell the idea to other FF's. Mike
-
Real fire apparatus are either lime, white over red, yellow, or red. One of the four is alright with me. Mike

How about vaseline on the toilet seat? Or how about the rubber band in the bubbler? Mike

eckyphats, i'm not sure if it's just my computer or what, but Youtube ends the vid at about 3 minutes, although the slider is only halfway to the end of the vid. Mike

Same here. Mike

I'd say a fit problem with the station. Mike

I guess i was confusing it with the others. Mike

I guess they used holey oil instead of Holy Oil to Christen it. (Don't want to start a debate here, just thought i'd throw this thing out there) Mike

I thought that Robert Allen got the bid for the fireboats. Mike
