I haven't tried it yet, but I believe the guy who runs it also runs Kingsley's Market on June Road behind North Salem High School. I have had stuff from there and it's good, so I would expect this one to be pretty good as well.

I agree with you, ems-buff, but I'll go one step further. I think as you stated, there is, in some cases an opinion on the "professionalism" BUT All FF's, EMT's MEDICS, are required to have certain training. However, A career FF goes thru the academy and it's his/her living. Volunteers come from all walks of life, all different types of people, it's now what they do for a living, if you grt my point. Also I think that a certain amount of the debate between career and volunteer is a union thing (they feel vollies take jobs away from them. They have a little trouble grasping the small town tax thing. just my 2 cents.

I've ordered from Scannerworld. As long as they recieved the order mid to late morning I would get the next day. Can't complain about that.

Congratulations, Seth!!!!!!! Without all of your hard work in the actual administration, this Board would not be what it has grown to be. THANK YOU!!!!! and keep up the AWSOME job!!!!!!! Yes, there have been those blips on the screen, but you're gonna find them no matter where you go. So NEVER be disheartened by that because as you said, the good FAR outweighs the bad. Happy Anniversary and may this board live FOREVER!!!!!!!!

I joined CFFD at 16 YO. MANY MANY YEARS ago. (1963) I was called a "junior fireman". In those days the only things junior members could NOT do was hold office and drive apparatus. My brother was in, but that really had no influence. I just wanted to give something back to the community by helping others. As I went up through the ranks from Lieutenant thru Chief, I have no regrets although now I'm not as active as I was years ago.

Well, There's also 90.7 (WFUV) and 107.1 "The Peak" I especially enjoy the Irish music Sunday afternoons on FUV.
