I get a bunch of that crappola, but I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my email program, you can mark that crap as junk and it will automatically mark it and put it in the "junk folder". Otherwise if I'm the least bit suspicious, of domething, I just delete it.

While I know the main intent of this board is Emergency Services and Public works topics, I also tend to agree with partyrock. Another thing with games, some of which are pertty funny, is they can be a bit theraputic. More than once I would find myself in less than a good frame of mind, and find one of these games on here, they, at least for me have, at times been a good stress buster.

In a "prefect" world, all firefighters would be paid. But in this world, where taxes are rediculous now, can someone please tell me where the funding for a full career department in small town America? People are moving away to find places they can afford to live, and this tri county area sure as hell ain't one of them!!!!!!!!!!

We can all say what we want about the Yankees, and I think dumping Joe now is WRONG, but one thing that they are the only team in Major League Baseball that still takes the time in the "Seventh Inning Stretch" to show the respect and Patriatism to those who fight to maintain our freedom to even be able to bust each others' chops over these teams! Croton Falls Fire Department will be holding an Open House for our recently renovated North Salem Station on Saturday October 20 from !2 Noon to 3:00 PM. There will be Demonstrations, and handouts. Come on by and check out the Renovations on the Firehouse. Refreshments will be served.

Sorry to hear that, Duane. But I know all too well how easily these things can happen. My Father was in New York City quite a number of years ago, now. This goes back prior to the digital photography era. He had 2 lieca 35 mm cameras, in his Citroen and same thing, they broke the passenger side front window and grabbed the case with both cameras in it. Smash and grab. $5000 worth of equipment gone in a split second, and a wait for the insurance money.

I was never big into all this Politically correct stuff nor, for that matter, into the women's lib either, but, as has been previously stated, and I will back those posters up here. If a female can pass the tests, and all associated training, the more power to her! If they have the guts to try for it GREAT!!! Anyone can be anything they want to be or do anything they want to do if they have the courage and perserverence to "GO FOR IT!"

Baseball, Football, Hockey, Soccer, whatever! They are only games!!! And I don't think there are too many on here that are gonna make or lose millions, no matter who wins or loses. Anybody who really takes the wins/losses too personally has a problem. I like to think, and I don't think I'm too far off here, but I don't really think there are a lot of those types on here. I could be wrong, but I think that the VAST majority of the nut crackin on here idone in fun intended to be just friendly bustin.
