What you describe sounds like the original Motorola Minitor. It was 3 or 4 inches high, and maybe 2 to 21/2 inches wide, and ah perhaps an inch and a quarter thick. The pager itself was grey or black, and the charger was, as you said beige.

That's exactly I'm retiring!!! All I need is clear roads next Monday and Tuesday, then terminal leave thru New Years Eve, and on the first--- like the song goes "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow"!!!!!

I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must admit, as the song goes, "it took a little getting used to", but I do find it easier to navagate, and I like the sharpness and ease of veiwing the pages.
