I must say I agree with what the Chief did, as well. Ok, so the victims weren't treated by a medic in the vehicle, get them out and bring them a few yards from the hot zone to the waiting medic. Just because the medic could not enter the hot zone he/she can wait outside for extrication to be cmpleted

I don't think anybody is talking about "fluffing their departments. I believe that the question at hand has more to do with the degree of involvement, no matter what's on fire. I don't see any need for a comment like that.. Let's keep this thread heading in a positive direction. Nuff Said.

Seems to me, I read or heard, somewhere that unless Yogi is treed or problematic, DEC doesn't even want to be called. If ya ee him wandering around the yar go indoors and stay there.

We saw the lightning, heard the thunder, and had bsome breeze, and rain. One call for wires sparking on a pole and another for a tree down partially locking the road. Guess we lucked out tonight!
