The green is ok around Christmas, nice thing is for our more patriotic holidays replace green with white and it'll fit better with the grille! Seriously, I like the American flag in the grille.

45.72 is a frequency that is used to retransmit Fire 13 so that responding members can hear the trunked radio, so if a call is canceled they will know. After initial dispatch on 46.26, they can switch the pagers to channel 2 (as long as the pager is 2 channel capable) and monitor the trunk.

Monty, you are absolutely 100% correct!!! Some of the posts on here could have been better presented with the negativity and skepticism left inside the keyboard. A lot of people have worked long and hard to bring this to fruition, so lets ALL take a step back and give these folks a chance to prove their value. Some of you might be surprised. Like anything new things may need to get worked out. I doubt very highly that this team id just going to run out there without required training and certification. So at least, for the time being why don't you naysayers QTIP and let them have a chance. And one more thing LET'S KEEP THE CAREER/VOLLY NONSENSE OUT OF THIS!!!!! JMHO

We used the Chimfex for many years. We've used a quick shot of high pressure (1000 psi) fog, nut only in extreme circumstances. We most commonly use the bombs and chains, or the commercially available chimney cleaning tool. Mostly use the bombs, though. We also go through the kits about 3 drills during the chimney fire season.
