truck should be delivered mid may

its a 1500gpm/1000tank. we went out for the first inspection a couple weeks ago cab is done body is being build.

they are actually blue lights

we do indeed have another KME on the way. ill try and keep everyone updated on it

the ladder compartment looks a little cramped with the brooms and shovels. other than that a good looking truck.

our tower was on the 1-2 corner and our straight stick was at the 1-4 corner.

from being on the first in truck. the fire had a good 15-20 minute head start prior to use being dispacthed. first in truck ran out of water quick. since it was supplying 2 hand lines and a deck gun. we went right to exposure protection being the advanced stage of the fire and the #2 exposure was 20 feet away and the #3 exposure was 20 feet away also. it was a good job done by everyone. kept confined to the original fire building with only melted siding on the exposures.

what rigs do they keep there??

i dont think so everyone i showed the pic of the tower too siad the same thing.

medic 23 has a new rig too. both rigs have opticoms with i find cool

i personally in my 3 years as a ff i have never used my waist straps. i only use them training so the officers dont yell at me.

hillcrest's eq carries a couple of pumps for pump outs a portable generator, and when our rescue or 1250(rescue-pumper) is out of service it takes the place of either one of those.
