  1. Nice rig...how come they didn't throw a PR Flag up on that joint and some cool horns?
  2. At least I keep mine in the shed...lol By the way, it cost me $18 to fill my lawnmower the other day! This is getting out of hand!
  3. Great, and these guys are going to be calling in jobs? The South Broadway Business Improvement District tried this too...they hired 2 guys to look after the store fronts and pedestrian safety...well, that worked... BVA is not a heavily traveled street and there is no need for them there...they should hang out in Getty Square where the bulk of pedestrian traffic is in the entire city! Even with 3-4 cops there in the evening we still have problems, no one can be everywhere at the same time, ya know! Good luck Guardian Angels, but don't expect results.
  4. One of my co-workers just got back from his honey moon. They went to the Galapagos Islands. Here are 2 photos that he shared with me that I found interesting!
  5. OOOPS!
  6. Who's up for doing it next, I am going on Wednesday...looks easy! RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think they are actually nuts, some people just enjoy climbing. We aren't rushing the climbers in Arizona off to the hospital and they do some more daring stuff then climb up the side of building with built in ladders!
  7. This is usually a judged parade too, right? Guess there will be none of the partial uniforms.
  8. Bertoline's have been very good for Peekskill, and for all those that drink beer. A number of youths get their first summer jobs there, and it is basically awesome! I had a lot of fun delivering beer, and drinking some...lol Congrats on 75 years! Enjoy the Clydesdale's, they are truly beautiful animals. I believe there are a couple of troops of them that cover regions and then there are a few at each of the Seaworld/ Busch Garden parks. While working a Bertoline's I got some of the best Beer shirts, Budweiser has a quarterly catalog with all these cool items. My favorite were one's with the Lizards on them!
  9. Doesn't diesel cost like 5.50 a gallon? However about alternative fuels...like the used food frying oils? Next time you are hungry, go to McD's get your lunch and fill up the car all at once... Or we can just go back to the old days of foot patrol with call boxes...lol
  10. Rob, do me a favor, empty it and re-fill it, that O2 will taste way to stale, 10 years! You aren't carrying it to use on yourself, however in an official capacity as an emt/medic for a certified agency that you are a member of. Nice try though. As for Stat, you have been real negative lately. There are some locations in rural areas where this could benefit, O2 not only avail for the bs jobs, but what about a cardiac arrest, BLS airway, BVM, CPR when the ambu is still 5-10 min away...sounds like a great idea to me!
  11. I thought it was last night...well, stay cool, if you can!
  12. In the follow up article, I find a couple of things funny: 1. She didn't know where she was drinking...must be a pro 2. She drove the wrong way through the toll plaza and actually made it 3. She is still hot
  13. They also filmed a C.I. episode in Yonkers at the train station, well at least part of one. Claimed it was Albany N.Y. Pretty funny stuff, otherwise I like the C.I. show the best.
  14. Should be a fancy term for "ESU" patrol vehicles... Quick Link for the DEP REP as photographed by the 1 and only Truck4 Reason for edit: Added hotlink (O-Wind)
  15. Wow...you didn't take offense to that did you...lol As I was saying earlier, the placement of the motorcycle is perfectly safe in this individual situation. There are 2 previous obstacles that traffic can see...the bike says...."you aren't past the accident just yet!" And Seth, they are really not supposed to hide...technically I believe they are supposed to always be in plain sight, am I right INIT?
  16. Don't they wear boats?
  17. But they use Motorcycles for Highway patrol all over...can't send cars if they ain't there...
  18. I looked through the rest of the photos...may be a demo for "5-4ward"...
  19. Thanks for the link on fish stocking...pretty cool!
  20. Sounds like someone was thinking. Kudo's to them! There is no reason to put the men at unreasonable risk!
  21. I think the Ford (explorer or expedition) has way too many lights! Hopefully it is simply a demo! If not, I am crashing when I see it and blaming them!!!!! Or not cause I wrote it here.......lol
  22. Wow, trip to a funeral in a helo....ouch that hurt the taxpayers.............
  23. Wow, cute...I wonder if she was thinking "why do I see water, there is no river in Eastchester..." And, "What is wrong with these people, don't they know which way to go?"
  24. I was never concerned, most commercial ambulances sit outside in the same heat all day too... Plus, your trunk is usually much cooler than the rest of the interior of your car which is exposed to direct sunlight. I keep a case of water back there and it is never undrinkable...
