Who??? Do you mean Roger "I got a Lawyer" Clemens????

The festivities just ended...that is why...lol As for the ain't broke comment, that is plain ridiculous. My house wasn't broke when I moved in but after 3 years I gutted it and started over, modernized and made it better. Building a new stadium created many temporary jobs, and will eventually created many more permanent jobs. Another reason is Capitalism at its finest. And then there is the evolving stance...I could go on but I won't Goodbye Yankee Stadium and thanks for all the memories!

I was a member of PCVAC for a long time... they definitely use the fly car the right way. I miss having the time to run with em, but it isn't in my cards right now. Peekskill VAC would also be a great place for new emt's to break in and I have a feeling they could always use the help.... Good luck with the new vehicles and keep up the great work.

Well, I am proud to announce that my wife and our new baby boy, Matthew Alexander are doing great. Here is a shot of the young man...

10 lbs at birth...yikes. They do grow quickly, his sister is almost 4 already. Boy was that a tough couple of days. She really wanted a little sister and was not too happy when she saw we didn't come through for her! He was 7.14 at birth and dropped to 7.6 by discharge (normal for babies to do this) and he is already back to 7.11 in a week so that is good. Yes, he has Yankee clothing and has worn it but my mother in law changes him so often I can't keep up with the photos... And, Dad is fine. I am on paternity leave, ahem VACATION!!! Trying to catch up on things that need to be done around the house.

Cool Pictures! How bout the "AA" ambulance in the top of the photo! And all the lime fire trucks in Yonkers...almost unbelievable!
-
Both apparatus have the on-board extrication equipment. New to L71 which is the only Ladder Co. not an extrication unit. Of course this changes everything for us dispatchers...lol

Way to go Mike. I guess the power plant works...

What is the actual "Goal"? IN that I mean only how much is needed to be raised. I already know what it is used for.

Happy belated birthday Chris.

Here is a shot from a distance of the old Peekskill Firehouse located at Water St. and Central Ave. Taken using a 300 mm zoom lens on my d-reb...with image stabilization, UV Haze filter, and Lens hood (was very bright out!) Rumor of it one day becoming a museum...may RWC130 can elaborate... this used to be E130 house back in the day! [attachmentid=2948]

So the Shell Hydrogen Station is the only "consumer" location in the Metro area (including Westchester), however now we know of at least 2 locations. Anyone else know of 1?

Congratulations to the NYPD!

In the incident alert it says Ladder 2 ladder pipe in operation. Well, I called Guinness and that is by far the Worlds Largest Bong. MVFD made it into the book!
