The U.S. Attorney's Office if prompted by the NYSAGO, may be able to intervene in place of the NYSAGO as this occurred across state lines. Possible fraud and or interstate commerce violations under the Federal Statute.

The Southern District of New York encompasses the following counties: New York (Manhattan), Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and Sullivan. This entire district is covered by the Courthouses in White Plains and Manhattan (Foley Square). The majority of the cases are heard in Manhattan.

It's all about PRIDE!!! BHFD has pride in our equipment and we take care of it. Our equipment is not bought on a whim. We plan out or purchases carefully, and when we get new apparatus, the members appreciate it and we maintain them. Our chief's cars are just like any other departments. The lights are far from overboard. Most importantly, the cars are functional and suit our needs. In addition, we are bordered by nice equipment in Bedford, Katonah and Mt. Kisco, not to exclude any other departments in Northern Westchester. Our stuff may seem flashy to you, but it is all functional.

BOTH 10-75 AND 10-84 ARE ON THE COUNTY 10 CODE LIST. SEE THERE WEBSITE UNDER THE FORMS SECTION.

Updates to the radio system have been discussed at the County Chief's, NWVFA, and the County DES informational meeting that have been held within the past month. They did discuss the portable issue. This isn’t new news.

I think it should be limited to 46.26 and 33.96. The more channels you add the less you will hear.

Who said they can't override the CAD?

The Town of Beford has an ordinance in place for all three departments (Bedford Hills, Bedford Village and Katonah). The ordinance was written by the chiefs in conjunction with the building inspector. All Knox keys are secured in Sentraloks in the rigs. The keys are released by 60 control upon request. Email: Knoxbox@bedfordhillsfd.org for more information.

DFFD227 do Dobbs Ferry Jr. Corps. members get pagers?
-
I agree with x635. I would sure hope that a FF has enough respect that they would turn their pager and phone off at a wake. I have been at wakes and funerals where pagers go off. It makes the fire service look very bad to the public. In addition, how can you blame the police dispatcher who does a tone test at the same time every night. They should know that a FF is at a wake....Please!!!!! I think people need to think and compose their thoughts prior to posting items on EMTBRAVO!!!!!

Why did it take so long to put the new Engine 120 in service? I thought Croton took delivery in 2003. Were there problems?
-
MFC2257....Bedford Hills has Tower Ladder 57, which runs dual response into Bedford Village and Katonah Fire Districts.
