How do they go about the testing for joining a department in westchester? Is it one test for the county and then they assign you? or do you do the test for individual departments? If so, does anybody know when the next Tests will be? Thanks

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'm going to go with the streamlight, seems like a good light for a good price. Yeah, the good ol Garrity light just doest cut it for me, its cheep and disposable, but its cheep and doesnt provide the amount of light that other lights do. Thanks Again

Does anybody have good idea about what to get? There are so many options and I dont know just what to get, I was thinking about a surefire LED light, but they tend to be expensive. Any suggestions?

I think it would be so nice if they just put all those wonderful new features on something that looks good. Can't there be function and form?

Its a really excellent course, once you take it you start to think about everything differently, like you know what your doing. As a bonus, depending on the instructer, you get in shape too

Holy Sh*t Thats pretty crazy. I supppose it was sort of provoked, but still, you should never attack somebody. You simply file a harassment complaint with the police . . but o wait, the house your living in was bought with somebody elses money . . . that might look just a little suspicious to the police.

Does anybody know when the Physical Exam is in relation to the written exam?
