I believe there were (2) incidents at Playland on (2) 4th of July's- one had a Signal 5 type response and one had a larger mobilization. It may have been two consecutive years or twice out of three. One incident may have been in 2003.

Date: 03-25-07 Time: 1630hrs Location: 111 Connie Lane Departments: Description: (2) Police Officers responding to a reported domestic incident were shot as they arrived at the suspect's home. (1) P.O. was pronounced shortly after being shot and (1) died the next morning. The suspect was later found at a checkpoint and killed. To date, only two people who previously worked at News 12 are at the new station. Christa Laurie was a freelancer at N12. RNN's news director is formerly of N12 and was dumped almost 2 years ago. Says a lot if you can't make it at 12.
