Date: 05-01-07 Time: 2110hrs Location: From New Jersey to Tarrytown Description Of Incident: NJSP in pursuit if a Perp driving a cab from a tractor trailer leads PD in a chase over the GWB from New Jersey and into the Bronx and Westchester.   21. Trooper Brinkerhoff was part of our local N.Y.S.P. tactical team (SRT /Camp Smith). He was killed while doing a search of a residence in full tactical gear (shot in the head). He was 33 years old, 8 year veteran and leaves behind a 7 month old child. ANNUAL WEST POINT TATTOO – Saturday, April 29, 2007 Noon-6PM WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Military Academy will host the 27th annual Tattoo Sunday, April 29, from noon until 6 p.m. at the Trophy Point Amphitheater. The Tattoo will feature over 20 pipes and drums bands, the Cadet Pipes and Drums and the West Point Band. Some local bands that will participate include the Westchester Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums, AOH Pipes and Drums of Orange and Rockland Counties, Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes and Drums and the Westchester Firefighters Emerald Society Pipes and Drums. The event is open to the general public. Guests should enter the academy through security checkpoints at Thayer and Stony Lonesome Gates. All adult visitors will be required to show valid photo identification upon entrance to academy grounds.
