Date: 02-16-08 Time: 0330hrs Location: Washington Blvd. 'Econo Lodge' Departments: Prince George County PD, Howard County PD, US Marshalls Description: Regional Task Force of officers serving a warrant on a hotel room encountered suspect from earlier shooting of a Police Officer in Washington DC. Perp shot PG Deputy and was shot and killed by other Officers. Deputy was flown to Baltimore Shock Trauma and is in serious/stable condition. Writer: Truck4

Date: 02-16-08 Time: 0330hrs Location: Route 210 X Pine Lane Departments: Description: (8) Spectators killed during illegal street race. (3) Medivacs were requested. WJZ.Com- "The victims were tossed through the air after police say a Crown Victoria, not involved in the race, came down the highway after two other racing cars took off. At the same time, a crowd of about 50 people stepped into the road to see the race. They were hidden in the dark of night and a cloud of burning rubber and exhaust. Making matters worse, an 18-wheeler also came through the body littered highway moment later as the two street racers took off." Writer: Truck4 1420hrs- Div. 6 rpts co's still trying to find seat of the fire in the basement. All members being withdrawn ATT. (2) Tower Ladders set up and standing by. 1455hrs- S/C (2) Tower Ladders to replace (2) straight aerials. 1500hrs- (2) Tower Ladders and several multi-versals in operation. Still have fire in the basement. D/W/H. Duration (2) Hours (15) Minutes. 1600hrs- Still D/W/H. 1645hrs- 3rd Alarm transmitted for relief- (2) Tower Ladders and a new FAST be included on the 3rd.
