Parade of ships starts tomorrow morning. I've been told that the USS Iwo Jima will arrive at 0645hrs to dock next to the Intrepid. The rest of the fleet will move up river at 1000 and turn around at the GWB. The USS Roosevelt will dock near the USS Iwo Jima. Most of the rest of the ships are going to Stapleton, Staten Island. Clark County, NV Police Officer James Manor, 28, was killed after being struck by a pick-up truck operated by a drunk driver. Officer Manor was responding to a domestic dispute when the collision occurred on Flamingo Road. Manor, a 2-year member of the department leaves behind a young child.

Writer: Truck4 1328hrs- B/C transmitting 2nd Alarm on Arrival for fire showing from the 5th floor. 1331hrs- 3rd Alarm transmitted for heavy fire 5th floor extending to the 6th floor with reports of people trapped. 1346hrs- S/C (2) extra Trucks. 1350hrs- Co's removing occupants, people on the fire escapes. 1410hrs- Heavy fire on the 6th floor and into the cockloft. 1418hrs- S/C (2) extra Engines. 1440hrs- All co's being removed from the building. 1455hrs- B/C rpts A/D corner has burned through with collapse threat. 1501hrs- Deputy 1 rpts All-Co's working, exterior operations with a collapse zone established. 1511hrs- Bricks falling from top of Exposure 'C' side. 1513hrs- Roof collapse on the 'D' side with fire from the corners. 1513hrs- East Orange Truck with a ladder pipe in operation on 'D'-side. 1515hrs- Co's removing L-4 from collapse zone. 1517hrs- Co's making progress on the 'C' side, fire darkening down. 1525hrs- Still have heavy fire A/B corner. Most other visible fire is darkening down. 1535hrs- Deputy 1 rpts fire contained to building of origin- 5th, 6th floors and cockloft. A/C/W.
