The storm for all intents and purposes was over at 1030 this morning and was not one of the biggest we've had by a long-shot. But if there was no other "news" to report, there would have been Team Coverage" of the LODD's. Ridiculous, but not surprising.

Date: 1-23-05 Time:1015hrs Location: R/O 10 Hanover Ct. Units: Multiple Departments for Ice/Water Rescue gear, Pennstar, USCG. Description: FD Sta. 21 responded to a dog stuck on the Neshaminy River. While attempting to retrieve dog, (3) firefighters fell into water through the ice and were swept away to a small island. M/A for water and ice rescue teams and equipment were requested as well as Helo's from the Coast Guard and PennStar. Members were removed by a Mutual Aid company with a Ice Sled/Stokes combo over an hour after the incident began. Helos were recalled. FF's were transported in critical condition with hypothermia.
