While attempting to retrieve dog, (3) firefighters fell into water through the ice and were swept away to a small island. M/A for water and ice rescue teams and equipment were requested as well as Helo's from the Coast Guard and PennStar. Members were removed by a Mutual Aid company with a Ice Sled/Stokes combo over an hour after the incident began. Helos were recalled. FF's were transported in critical condition with hypothermia.
