Date: 12-23-05 Time: 0000hrs Location: Mclean Ave- Sanford Ave Units Operating: YPD 2nd PCT, 3rd PCT, 1st PCT; ESU Truck 2, Truck 4, K-9 Description Of Incident: Vehicle pursuit of male armed with a gun. Perp crashed 700 block of Mclean Ave and ran north. Writer: Truck4 0002hrs- Suspect vehicle has crashed at 709 Mclean and black male, gray sweatshirt running toward strip mall at Mclean and Central. (1) suspect still in vehicle and injured from crash. 0004hrs- R/C 210 and Truck 2 req. recall of K-9 unit for search. Patrol units in active foot pursuit. 0006hrs- R/C 210 (Sgt) reports vehicle split telephone pole in half and power lines are down for "blocks and blocks." YFD E-307 responding and advised to use extreme caution. 0010hrs- ESU Truck 2 req. K-9 to Cumberland X Huntington to start search. Unit last seen perp at rear of 68 Cumberland. 0011hrs- Residents just ran out of 68 Cumberland stating he just heard someone in the woods behind his house (rear of A&P). Second witness saw male run into yard at 68 Cumberland. 0016hrs- ESU Truck 2 req. K-9 to rear of EZ Pass store in strip mall to access trail that runs to rear yards on Sanford St. Suspect vehicle now confirmed to be an active file (stolen car). 0024hrs- Empress treating (1) suspect awaiting PD to secure suspect for transport to Jacobi. 0025hrs- K-9 enroute to scene from the 1st PCT. 0036hrs- ESU and K-9 initiating search from rear of EZ Pass toward Sanford St. 0037hrs- ESU has male in wooded area behind EZ Pass.

Description Of Incident: NYPD in pursuit of stolen car out of the Bronx and up the Deegan through Yonkers. Suspects exited in Ardsley and bailed out I/A/O the bus yards.
