not sure why but they also changed the permits to the same kind of thing with the 3d and different colors. maybe its just to update them and the 3d could be so noone can copy them.

I was in english with ms. goldberg. i remember she had that soft voice and said "class, a plane hit the world trade center". I remeber turning to my freind and saying "big deal, why is that worhty of interupting class"( i was in 7th grade if that explains anything). The school told us nothing more then that. Then around 7th period, i was call to the office. By then, we had found out by talking to teachers who had the radio on what had happened. so i went to the office and i was worried someone had died from my family or somthing like that. Go figure my mom forgot to tell me about a dentist apointment i had. i remember getting home and watching the news for the first time and it hit me how bad the whole thing really was.

out side of NY, i know ALOT of towns small and big in NH use boxes. Kind of odd to go to the firehouse and see a tanker and then walk down the street and see a box because normaly when i think box, i think city but i know for a fact that concord, conway north and south, Meredith, and Wolfeboro all have boxs in their towns. reason why i bring this up is to say that they are still used, just not as much around here.

MRS1151 good idea, i like it! and the one day thing like said wouldnt work because everyone is going to make up the difference the next day when they go to buy "yesterdays" gas

i actualy own the first game that they put out....its kinda odd because they have 2 different names for these games......... what im talking about is this. The first firefighting game monte cristo (the developer) put out was Emergency Fire Response (the game i have). They also called this game Fire Department and depending on where you bought it, depended on what name was on the cover. Both games were the same but the game was produced with 2 names.............. this game also seems to have a copy name (or this is the copy name). "Fire Captin" which is sold directly by monte cristo looks just like this game. http://www.firecaptain-game.com/ that is the URL from the monte cristo website. You can get the demo off that website for firecaptin Anyways, what ever the name may be, i know "emergency fire response" was a great game. like all games as the same in "the sims" or "sim city", the first one needs work and is missing some things but other then that, A GREAT GAME. so id say that this new second game would be even better. there is also another game for PS2 which looks alittle tacky and has a story line behind it. I didnt get it because it didnt sound real great when i was reading about it. http://www.konami.com/gs/firefighter/

WAS.....the prob with us staying at the firehouse and being on duty is the whole point why we aren't payed. that and i think i speek for everyone when i say this, i know BHFD on some days dosent get any calls at all. people would be waiting at the firehouse for a whole day and not even get a run.
-
they also sell as im sure all of you know, alot of tools in one. I saw a knife in galls that had a spanner and a hammer along with all the other knifes and such
-
it can happen as little as a knife (not switchblade) gets cought and flips open......ive done it myself once or twice camping....althogh i didnt cut myself, if that happened and you fell on it..........owch
-
in BHFD we do cleen and dry hose on racks. After a fire, normaly unless the hose is cleen and somewhat dry, we role the hose then cleen it at the firehouse and put it on the racks. It drys and dosent get all mildewey and nasty on the trucks
-
I do put stickers on my helmet tho....ive got a 9/11 sticker and 2 flags(1 for each side)......anyone else got anything like that?
-
good idea...i wouldnt do the patch thing tho cuz mine has been passed down to me by my dad
-
nope......dont even bother wit that......just checked it and its a no go..........engine 72 was stacked when it was a mack back in the day tho

did you try FDNYtrucks.com?.........has past and present trucks from all the stations in the city
