You are correct about the wires being yellow and different. The on this vehicle has 2 wire harnesses coming off of it, one for the airbag and one for all of the other features, like the multifunction switch.

Actually on this car the multifunction switch and the clock spring are one unit. 27east check your PMs

There are right around 109 different departments in Suffolk County and almost every dept in Suffolk has a brush truck, so they all sent them to the Suffolk County Fire Academy to stage once a disaster was called by IC. I believe every unit that went was used. Some depts sent tankers and engines too.My coworker drove by the academy while the units were staging and he said that he never saw anything like it, so many trucks.

manorville actually lost 2 trucks to the fire

Smoke can be seen from as far as Westbury, NY and across the sound in CT. Unknown injuries ATT. Manorville VFD has lost 2 brush trucks to the fire. U/D: One FF injured. Burns to the face and hands, w/ smoke inhalation too. Medivac being set up to get him out. Fire has extended from the Pine Barens to multiple homes. Reports are saying that this fire will be harder to control than the brush fire in 1995 in the same location aka "The Sunrise Wildfire" http://en.wikipedia....se_Fire_of_1995. So if this were to happen would they keep the current stations in Pleasantville and Mt. Kisco and use them as substations or would they all be out of County HQ?

I think its concept is too futuristic to ever work effectively. If they take away the finger tip thing I think it would be better.

Anybody know why the rear hatch is all cut up?

Saw an unmarked nysp Tahoe get somebody on the northern state parkway in long island yesterday. The trooper was in full uniform. Caught my eye because of it being unmarked.

So B of A should just go there and hand out cash?? There are no ATMs and in some cases no banks operating for miles. Not all businesses take credit cards, especially without power. How much cash do you keep in your go bag? Eventually you'll need more. I would hope they waived any fees for other bank customers. I saw some of them on the LIE going out east to set up, a multiple times in the past few weeks. If I didn't have any power or cash I would loved to have seen one of them
