Wapp boggie car 1, A.K.A 68-1 AKA ,Joe ''T jr'' good idea market an emt bravo helmet sticker. You should take that right down to E C Printing. YOU CAN PUT THE NEW STICKER RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR UNION STICKER HA,HA,HA. Most of your clothing comes from him these days anyway!!!!! OH SHOOT LOL. I hope there is not any big incidents in the south end of the Town of Poughkeepsie or Wappingers today, both ''SUPPER'' Chiefs are working at AFD. 68-1 AND 53-1. lol GROUP 4 RUUULESSS..................... Now that the guys at my job are done busting my chops ..... for now.....that isn't a bad idea about the sticker. I am sure probably no one in Mohegan knew about this. This person should be embarrassed and resign. Seems like a dirt bag to me.

I also think we can split the screne on the monitor so you can use two cameras one on A one on B. WE ALSO HAVE A TOUGHBOOK LAP TOP MOUNTED IN THE VEHICLE WITH INTERNET AND CAN LOOK A GOOGLE EARTH, AND SOME CHEMICAL PROGRAMS FOR HAZ MAT INCIDENTS.

Hey City guys, was firefighter Hicks working last night for his first big job as a city firefighter? AND GOD I HOPE HE WAS WEARING HIS WAIST STRAP!!!!! LOL

AFD has a monitor in the back of 32-67 Captains vehicle, I think we can record. Bullard cameras.

Nice job Jason.

I did not take it as you were attacking him or how he was doing his job. I just wanted to point out that he is a very knowledgable and experienced firefighter and many have benefitted from his on the job experience. I think alot of positive posts have come from this thread and it HAS become a learning experience and NOT a bash fest on an individual or a department. I can say that I wear it because of the fatigue factor and so I don't get hung up in anything. I have also heard the same thing from guys I know that work the RESCUES, TRUCKS, AND ENGINES in the BIG CITY, and one of the reasons is you never know what you will come across in peoples homes to get tangled in. Things like bicycles, shopping carts ,motorcycles, and a big one is a burned up mattres.

THE ROCK.....MY HERO Gotta get on group 4 so you can show me your stuff , holy cow. OK GUYS YOU CAN LOG ME OFF NOW...... LAST TIME I DO THAT!!! LOL

Just to add, Dan aka x129 pretty much said it all, we were lucky. Some of the skills we used at this fire were taught to me by the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Officer that isn't wearing his waist strap coming down the Ladder on Hurlie st. a few weeks ago. As x129 said we were lucky and I believe those things taught to me by that officer saved our rear ends.

I have not said anything about this topic till now. 1 I agree with ALS, find LODD because a waist strap wasn't buckled. 2 I didnt use to wear a waist strap either years ago, I thought it was cool not to also. Now I know better , and the reasons we all should wear it. 3 I know LT. Levin aka ''MO'' AKA ''LEVINO'' very well, for over 20 years. Great guy, great as a firefighter and an even better fire officer. I know that this isnt about that. I don't want to see anyone get injured either. Could it be even for a second that he had to reajust on the roof? could it be that he just didnt buckle? Could it be that he had it off on the roof, could it be a bad habbit or a prefrence of his? we don't know. Why don't we ask him. Stop by the Main street firehouse and I am sure he would entertain any questions. Or PM him or ask some Poughkeepsie brothers on this forum....... Now please put this to rest. Donald P.

By reading the article in the paper today, some things were misprinted and some accounts are questionable ,then going over the fire in my head for the past 24 hrs, I don't think anything could have been done to save the resident. In my opinion he had already expired by the time fire and ems had gotten there mabe even before the dispatch. I witnessed first hand the vallant effort given by the State police, Dutchess county Sheriffs and a firefighter from UnionVale/Lagrange Professional firefighters you know who you are. Don't want to blow up your spot.

I KNOW YOU HAVE MORE!!!!!!!!LOL I am just now defrosted.
