It reads "FIRE Pleasant Valley CHIEF" on the front bumper of the vehicle. JUST MY OPINION IT WOULD BE BETTER BROKEN UP. That would be cool to 484x.

I think it would be better if FIRE CHIEF went on the hood, and Pleasant Valley went on the front bumper.

Seeing the car during the day with the lights on dosen't do it any justice.The lights at night are nasty , almost to bright. I am very happy to see the commissioners spend a little extra $ and get the bigger vehicle. Just enuogh red scotch light not to make it gaudy. As stated in previous post ,I don't like the lettering on the front bumper either.

Yes they did, just to the right of the doors there is a opening where they went in with a line. After a quick scan with a T.I.C. members were advised that the metal truss were compromised and deformed and they were pulled out. They did not go in to far.

It reminds me of a fire down on Acadamy street in the City of Poughkeepsie about 4 years ago. Same type conditions but the Poughkeepsie fire was at night. There was a heavy fire condition in one store in the rear, with some of the same type smoke coming from the building. Then all of the sudden there was a flash in each store coming from high in the ceiling. Very very violent and then the smoke went black again. Some brothers were still in the building at that time, all got out with minor injuries.The building involved was a strip mall type, 4 or 5 stores. The stores in that building were a medical supply store, a speed shop, t-shirt printing store, shoe repair store, and a car stereo shop.

Great pictures Bill. That block of Raymond hasen't seen Fire like that in a long time. The closest was 2 summers ago at the Chinese restaurant. That row of stores has changed alot. Now it is Delforno's deli on the corner, The $1 store, Griff's (enter in the rear)for all of you from the Poughkeepsie area. LOL, Julies Cafe, and a Laundry mat.
