Just so you know the Carmel FD parade scheduled for June 10th, 2011 has been cancelled due to lack of interest by invited depts. The main reason I am hearing is the cost of bands has gone though the roof and depts have to make cuts somewhere. Carmel was the second in Putnam to not have a parade this year. Lake Carmel elected to not have theirs earlier this year. Who is next?

june 1st is the mamaroneck fd parade the carnival starts on tuesday the 30th all are welcome of course

they still have no co for the bldg but the rigs are allowed in for now bu the rooms still need work the radio s are not in yet it was first used on chiefs night in early april no openning yyet planned imfo will follow when available

anyboby have anything on a fire at the same time as West Harrison in Mamaroneck it was a garage fire

i do believe that those guys in yellow turn out are volunteers

L 21 was in service becasue of its wieght and 2 ladders do not fit into the ladder firehouse on mamaroneck ave . blg so it was kept at station 1 on palmer now while that blg is being replcaed it fit at station 3 but now its o/s forever

i am new to putnum from lower westchester it sounds like we have no als in the county unless one of the local vac s get out is this true

yes it was my older son of eng 40 aND OTHERS THANKS FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND WELL WISHES he is alright but was in ice packs when i got to sound shore medical his heart rate was very high at 130pm when he got there and was exhausted several other members were also transported to area hospitals he was the last released early this morning around 6am thanks again for your well wishes every one on emtbravo

one other thing they do at the tmc is watch on all the monitors the cameras on the roads which you as a traveler in the hudson valley can get up dates about traffic on roads that the dot take care of like the taconic and sprain and saw mill etc many more local streets also they are busy 24/7/365 watching for us all
