How about Mount Vernon fire/ems going to 21 W Sanford blvd.2 sometimes 3 times every day for the last 2+ years, they have responded more then 1000 times...can't beat this....when will it stop, when somebody dies because the bus is tied up on Sanford blvd? ps it's the same patient every time minor complaints,almost always RMA....

sounds like someone who buys a house next to the airport then wants the planes to go away because it's too loud...if i had to guess i would say he was new to Delmar..by the way,been to Delmar many times...love the crab house,my 2 cents....

It's the same old story...the current admin. hates (for want of a better word) the fire dept...107 members do the very best they can with what they have which is not much.The admin. cancelled the hiring of several new members and spare parts are nil.Hopefully after the election we may see some progress...it's a long road but it has to start somewhere. The taxpayers of Mount Vernon are being short changed and no one in city hall cares...this opinion is mine and not official...

Just passed about an hour ago,looks like news 12 was getting ready to film...Not sure but looks like it's still closed...This is a fight they must win .The admin. has been getting away with too much for too long.Gambling with the lives and safety of the firefighters and people of Mount Vernon is NO WAY TO RUN A DEPARTMENT!!!!Wake up city hall,act while there is still time!
