I believe each company buy there own truck..... there is a asst chiefear in every company and they rotate up in rank every year or two.

I have a group of people i got together all interested in pellet stoves....I contacted a few dealers and we are going to get a pretty good deal considering we are going to buy 10 at once.,....while buying them we are also prepaying for pellets , about 4 ton for each stove. oil wise i only plan on buring what i need for hot water and that is it.

"CLR" Works very well..... then i use a powerball with mothers polish and makes it looking like new......make sure all dirt is removed from dimpond plate first before using powerball or it will be like polishing it with sandpaper!!!!

Alex, I don't think nims is part of the SOG's for us. As for everything else I had esentials of firefighting in New york state along with intro to fire officer, Fire Officer 1, Fast, evoc, Saftey & survivel and an ex- officer in new york............CT would not except my class to be equal to interior qualifications. So now i had to take firefighter 1, after i have been doing this for 7 years....been to more classes then i can count( there are more then i listed)

We have a boosterline on our engine and it gets used alot... one thing i do wish was that we had one on our tanker.

I spoke to a couple of people i know from new jersey and they are curently specing out two engines both with stainless steel tanks. aprently they are telling me that it is cheaper. I am not sure if that is true or not especially witht he price of steel right now. my department sctually just had to do some repairs on our engines tank because of seams sperating...they are all fixed but I would rather see a ploy tank anyday

there is a place off exit 2 on i84 right offf the ramp who sells, services and sells aftermarket and oem parts for most golf carts it is right accross the street from starbucks Can't miss it (its the place with all the golf carts outside)lol

E138 is in no doubt a beautifull rig, what year is it......did he say why they refubed with square box(COST)?

Don't get me wrong golden bridges cf was,is a good looking rig but i don't like the square refurb done to the rear compartments. enging 102 from kisco lost to many trophys to that truck which isn't all original

If your a volly there is an expense that comes with doing it. I don't care about what i get back from it I don't even care about the whole service rewards thing. All i know is i enjoy doing it i love the guys a my firehouse there like a 2nd family and thats that. We do it to help, we do it for the brothership. I'm not going to stop going to calls or drills or meeting because gas is a little expensive. I even forget to mark myself down on the meeting forms and drill forms. I don't care what is it one more point for me. Honestly right now i am unemployed, looking for a new job, My response hasn't change one bit other then me responding to more daytime calls. Get over it theres nothing we can do. If you enjoy being A VOLLY SO MUCH THEN JUST SUCK IT UP! think about the little things that you benifit from at the firehouse. and don't tell me you don't(partys, friendships, events throughout the year) just my 2cents

ohhh boy. I hope not. what a beautifull rig that it is. I havn't heared anything yet i haven't talk to anyone from there recently. If i hear anything before someone else does i'll let you know. Engine 102 the old engine 104 is a almost flawless rig. The truck is almost all original and is in better shape then the truck around from the time which have been redone. I would hate to see it go. went to my first call ever as a firefighter on that truck.
