The chiefs car could be done tomorrow if not saturday latest being monday i believe. Alot of time went into planning this car by a select few people and I think what they ended up with is a great setup. Out of the two engines and tanker . Company A firehouse in the center of town is have engine built by pierce along with a 3000 gal tanker on an international chassie. Squantz fire company is haveing an engine built by gowens and knight. i believe there are due some time in feb if im not mistaken.

our tanker is a freightliner and we love it. It has great turning radius for the tight roads and driveways we have in new fairfield. it handles the 1750gal of water with ease. Comfortable easy driving with plenty of power for the hills!

No foldatank....IS this going to be used just as a nurse tanker?!? also what if another tanker dosen't roll and a folda tank is needed? We have a 3000gal foldatank on a tanker with just 1750gal, do they have 5000 gal folda tanks? just wonderin

our engine is a mid-side mount, we also have a front suction on a swivle on the front bumper which is necessary since we have a few dry hydrants where the only way to get to them is pulling nose in. our tanker has a pump panel mounted in the foward most lower compartment on the driverside, the down side to this is in order tog et the panel in there we were forced to go with an oiled primer and it is also tufdf to see the gauges unless you kneel down in front of it while using it

I ahve been going to vermont for 10 years< i now own part of a cabin right near the derby line 15min from canada. i have not seen a moose in prolly 5 years dead or alive up there but there is moose signs everywhere. I got deer hunting up there yet never seen one. I just get back form there and we have another one in westchester.....weird

My old department had phones paid for by the chief and if any officers had phones it was the individual company's call if they wanted them to have them or not but it would have to be paid for by the company. My current dept has one for car 1 our cheif but the assit cheifs have there own with no rebates In vermont where i have a cabin the fire department issued radios to all active members and they use them like phones its kind of funny. All of a suddon you will here car 19 meet me at the gas staiton or things like that. Apperently they got a grant for radios and got 20 of them. for a small town of maybe 1000 residents all twenty active member got radios since all the truck were all ready had old raidos

Anyone have those same backuplights?!? i know a few people who mounted them under the bumper like that(same exact lights) and they filled right up with water....a few people i know had them installed professinaly. the lights are awsome bright even more so when you turn on both bulbs, but every where i see em there is water in them after not to long a period of time.....

YA beat me to it. Soon as i saw what they wanted i was going straight for lake carmels website. Very nice truck, one of my favorite new ones around.
