  3. I am looking for ideas for possible capital improvements technology wise for our department. I am looking into mapping/gis software witch could be interfaced with dispatch, also i am responding, radio controlled knox boxes for rigs,maybe even some new portable radios to replace our 10-15 year old radios we have. ANyone have any other ideas? I am not trying to build a wish list as much as items which could better the way we doing this by using technology. Thanks in advance!
  5. I am trying to get all fire departments in CT or even better across the country to hang memorial buntings up at fire house until the end of the month in memorial of the victims in Newtown. Please hang them at you FD and post a picture here. I am passing this on to friends in other states too., please do the same

    Everyone forgets we have more volunteers the paid guys in this country!!! We shouldn't get gas/pension/tax breaks...any of it. We are volunteers! Just sayin.

    I've been waiting for this for a while. About the blinding of other drivers, alot of new trucks built are so loaded with led warning lights do you really thing hid headlights are going to blind them. I Also have a few questions; Most trucks have wigwags installed in them, can you do this with HIDS? Is that the only style of HIDS you can get or are there others.
