I would think that Mohegan's former Curry Ford dealership fire in June would be on the list somewhere since it was one of our biggest in recent years
-
This incident occurred during the fire scene operations in June,2009. The operator was working on the 1st floor by knocking down the last standing parts of the building and was on the showroom floor when it gave way and the excavator fell into the basement below. Lucky the operator escaped serious injuries. The excavator was removed later in the day by Stiloski's.
-
Before the questions are asked...Yes, that is Santa in the first picture. The fire occurred during our candy cane runs and Santa "hit" the hydrant for us.
-
The color was chosen based on the availability. Remember, this vehicle was ordered during the summer when there was a crisis with American automakers.
-
Correct...set of irons is mounted horizonal on the driver's side of the trunk plus just to the bottom right of the irons, there is a officers tool mounted.
-
15) HAZMAT speedy dry, absorbant pads, booms....no more "wash downs"

there was an awesome episode on this truck including the making of it on one of the food networks a while back...i believe the owner is affiliated with an FD up that way

as far as i know it is still on...the Mohegan crew has been leaving in spurts throughout the day today. The raindate will be Sun. if they decide later on or tommorrow. It went on as scheduled last year during a tropical storm, so i dont see why postpone it this year...
