Yes it's a VERY stupid move. I seriously doubt Dutchess would do something like that especially not in the way the economy is. Things like that cost lots of money (hence the reason why the state is closingthe lab)

Where did you get the information "no serious injuries" & "everyone was discharged?" Every department on the scene worked as ONE. Every apparatus on the scene was utilized. The chief ran the incident just as good as anyone else would. This is another incident that I can say if you were not there and did not experience what happened for yourself, don't second guess how it was handled.

I disagree. If your gets damaged on a call, Hazmat exsposure, high heat damage, ripped at an accident, ect or just plane dirty or frozen at a fire. you should have a 2nd set that you can use at a moments notice otherwise thier might not be a spare set to keep you in service. Now unfortunitly most separtments can't afford this (like mine) so this would be on the wish list

What can a picture do? A picture can make people happy or make them sad A picture can help promote awareness of a event A picture can be a beautiful piece of artwork A picture can make a case or break a case A picture can document things before and after A picture can make a fire department or other organization look good or bad A picture can piss people off A picture can......

Publishing a photo of a license plate - There is no secret to a license plates on a vehicle in a auto accident - Most of the time it's in plain view - unless you have access to the motor vehicle database you can't find out who owns it (if you did you maybe violating the law disclose the information and this may or may not be the victim) The plate is very rarley removed due to an accident (unless other circumstances warrent it) It can also be read when the tow truck takes it away. So I ask, Why can't you take pictures of a license plate?

They probably didn't see it coming, it was dark out there. She was very lucky, it also helped that she was short. If she had wrecked it would not have been good.
