  3. The super glue I used for one of my previous modeling hobbies worked far better then any other super glue I have used to date. It works great on plastic and metal, holds strong, drys fast so you dont have to hold parts yet gives you time to work with the pieces if the first time is not too successful. It works great on for the application inn which you will be using it. It can be found here: http://store.us.games-workshop.com/storefr...&GameNav=300810 its a tad expensive for the amount you get (at least to a teenager with no income) but a little goes a very long way.
  4. I just got hurt all of the time I think Mo still holds the top for records for the longest home runs not only hit by a met but in general for shea stadium

  8. You can certainly use the inner tube band but streamlight sells a rubber band that also fits some of their flashlights really nicely on it....that way you dont need to use a garrety light or drill holes in your helmet its like 3 bucks and I have one with a 7 LED flashlight on it and i could not be happier
  9. Its a good idea, nice and very cool but its a little out of date I dont remember the last time engine 211 responded considering bedford does not have a engine 211 and the seagrave that was engine 211 is now in south america

  14. Oh thats sounds like a better system...........the tag was mounted on the apparatus it could know one was on what rig as well it sounds like a great system that should be but in service everywhere which surrounding department member signature listed for use on mutual aid calls or firefighters that respond with other departments
  15. If it works great.............but first it has to be a little more accurate as location goes because a difference of 5 feet can lead to 2 more fire fighters being in a different room and having even more problems and also how would they know where the fire fighter was if they were in a building aka what floor because it would be no help in locating the fire fighterr unless it also said height but then there might be problems with the exact height of each floor as well as how does it factor in the possibility that the fire fighter might have been in a floor collapse for location

  23. This is a discussion I had with one of my friends a while ago: What watch system works better when trying to measure a patients pulse: -An analog watch with the seconds hand to tell you ok when it reachs X point it has been Z amount of time and the Patients pluse is Y OR -A digital watch with the seconds of course to measure the amount of ellapsed time? Would trying to figure the amount of time on a digital be distracting you from measuring the patients pulse or would there be no downside Is there any Pros or Cons for using a analog or digital time system While I am not an EMT nor have I ever taken a pulse I would like to get my CFR and EMT some day and I would appreciate some opinons on the better system This topic also comes from a debate I heard while listening to 2 EMTs from the Northern Westchester Area
  24. Instead of the air centers try instaling more sprinklers, CO detectors, conbustable gas meters, smoke alarms or other meters for haz-mat or other all of these things will limit the amount of time a Fire fighter needs to spend in the building and thus possibly on air If they catch ever the emergency is early why is there a need to bring in air when it is not needed not to say that this idea is not novel nor a good one but there are other ways of protecting the building with the building
