Clearly, I have interpreted the Constitution differently than some people. I interpret the Free Exercise Clause as stating that no one has the ability to infringe on the practice of a religion. And there is presidence to say that denying religious practice is unconstitutional. Such cases as: Church of Lukumi Babalu Aye v. City of Hialeah Wisconsin v. Yoder Reynolds v. United States And this could be a violation of a presidence set forth in Sherbert v. Verner because the Sherbert Test was violated. According to wikipedia: The Sherbert Test consists of four criteria that are used to determine if an individual's right to religious free exercise has been violated by the Ramapo police department. The test is as follows: For the individual, the court must determine * whether the person has a claim involving a sincere religious belief, and * whether the government action is a substantial burden on the person’s ability to act on that belief. If these two elements are established, then the government must prove * that it is acting in furtherance of a "compelling state interest," and * that it has pursued that interest in the manner least restrictive, or least burdensome, to religion.

Mayor Bloomberg is a billionaire and part of the ticket he ran under was a decrease in government spending. He gave himself a salary of $1 to show that he was doing this that he want to and not for the money. In addition if he had taken a salary imsure that there would have been a uproar again based on the fact that he is a billionaire. What is telling that under normal circumstances like in Yonkers, the cops making the city safe regually earn more than the mayor. Thus the crime rate in the given city, this case yonkers, it very high.

SVU is by far the best just based on the dynamic the characters have and all of the action that takes place. Plus Mariska Haggarty makes the show that much easier to watch and Bellzer with his cynasism and paranoia are hysterical bit nothing beats watching Ice T beat the crap out of a perp. Although, I must agree that the Green and Brisco partnership with McCoy is the best in Law and Order history.
