  2. Noticed that too..... Welcher Ave/Lower South Street, Peekskill to 2094 Albany Post Road Montrose (Montrose VA Hospital) is 1.9 miles or 4 minutes. Welcher Ave/Lower South Street, Peekskill to 90 Dana Road, Valhalla (Westchester Department of Emergency Services) is 17 miles or 23 minutes. Why call the county Haz-Mat when Montrose VA Haz-Mat is that close?

  9. The 2009 Woodstock event is barely planned. It is going to be an epic fail like 94 and 99. I want this to work about as much as the hippie who was there in 69 and still thinks jerry is still alive but i am not optimistic at all. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/10/fashion/10woodstock.html
  10. Wish I could make it....that rescue looks mighty nice I really dig the last line of text on the flyer: "All Apparatus Must Have A Designated Driver" maybe the next westchester parade flyer will have something like that on it too
  11. Does anyone know of any of these gas leak ConEd training classes coming up soon?
  12. The Upper Level Explosive Limit for Liquified Petroleum Gas (Butane, Propane) is 9.5-8.5% while the Lower Explosive Limit is 2.1-1.9% http://www.cdc.gov/NIOSH/npg/npgd0372.html Other than natural and propane gas (CH4) what other gases could leak inside or outside a structure that can explosively combust that one needs to be careful of.
  13. Why just the second alarm. I have seen and heard of medics on stand-by for first alarms or training burns on multiple occations.......
