That was Ryes old boat that sank and was salvaged. Another was donated recently and will be set up soon as we are just nearing servicing Rye Pd PB2 for the season. Rye Pd PB1 is in service.

Its a 3/36 regular Ford warranty although most cars will hit 36k miles before the 3 yrs.

Spun it like a toy

From personal experience as a municipal mechanic we have tried many different brands of lighting to save money. We realized that its cheaper to buy a brand such as Whelen once with a 5 yr warranty than something cheaper and have to replace it multiple times within those 5 years.

How about calling in as twenty three thirty three?

If I knew you were going to Snyder I would have warned you not to blink

What are they getting from Norwalk and what is the spare that they use now?

I work on fleet vehicles and if anything try to stay away from International. We only have 2 left and have had nothing but problems with both of them. If you go with a commercial chassis we have a couple of Freightliners that arent too bad. Every truck might have a bug in the beginning. We are getting our first Kenworth very soon and run mostly Macks which are dependable.

Rye has 2 Ford Escape Hybrids. One is used by the Fire Insp and the other is the building insp. They are assigned to one person and beside normal maintenence they are pretty much trouble free.

I just recently saw the new design and I am considering selling my Chrysler 300 so I can get one.
-
I love that thing, I wish we had one.

It left for the T/C at 3pm today.

I was with the county officials when they came to inspect it and are very happy to accept this rig because of the 2 stage and top mount panel.I believe it just wasn't used and they have E 193 (Sutphen) as a spare. E 191 is going to be the next rig replaced in the future since it is a first line rig.

In the DPW we have people retiring next year and their positions wont be refilled. So we hope that will avoid any layoffs in our department.

I could see an awd PI used as a detective or unmarked vehicle.

I would agree that these cabinets make the rear of the vehicle tail heavy wouldn't use it unless you are using a 3/4 ton suburban or 1 ton pickup. In the fleet that I help maintain we have 2 Tahoes and I don't like they way they drive. Just my opinion.

Both rigs have a Career FF, E58 sometimes has 2. Right now the career staff is not at full capacity. E58 runs out of HQ on lower Westchester ave.E59 runs out of Sta 4 on upper Westchester during the day and out of Rye Brook HQ at night.
