United towing on Halsted Ave in Harrison recently purchased a large rig like the LA one.

Heard it was delivered to Excelsior in Mamaroneck today.

Saw it there today as I drove by, but didnt have a camera with me.

Both ladders are nice rigs. The only gripe I have about them is that they sound more like police cars without federals on them. I just personally think that the public recognizes that distinct sound as that of a piece of fire apparatus.

I think the final inspection is next week.

The New England Fire Chiefs show in Springfield Mass is a good one also. It isnt that far at all.

I heard that Rye's new ladder 25 will be one of the last ones to be built. They are doing a final inspection of it in the middle of September
