Port Chester is a 2 truck Company... we dont dont go to parades unless the 2nd due truck is manned with a crew.

I think this was the Houlhans Restaurant Fire. I was there as a kid watching from Larchmont Ave and Palmer. Ang.. got to get my cousins 8x10 black /white pictures of this fire .. great shots of AT2 and patrol!

Port Chester L31 went into service tonight.

I never seen such back and forth of career vs. vol's. This hole site is full of negative! I think a lot people need to read what is written and know what was going on before everyone bashes each ther like school children. I never talk on this site, but will always stick up for my dept. right or wrong. And who calling who a bunch of BUFFS? Port Chester is the last dept. to be known as buffs. Better take a good look at the other career and voly BUFF'S on you tube!

Engine 21...They ran a 1988 Pierce Arrow Engine 1500/500 (1988-2000)...The current rig is a 2000 Spartan/RD Murray 1500/500

Spartan cab 8 man cab and yes the poningo st. sign will go on the new ladder!

Heard that Mt. Kisco already signed the contract for a 105' Rearmount Smeal Ladder Truck just like Port Chester. Yonkers is getting 3 more Smeal Ladders similar to what they have now. Smeal seems to be making there mark in the county!

Going out to bid next week for a NEW 105' Rearmount Smeal Ladder Truck. This new ladder will replace the 100' Seagrave Tiller.

Port Chester Tiller Ladder (L31)... In the process of puttting specs together for a New 100ft. 8 man cab Rearmount Seagrave. Getting specs and pricing done to go foward with the village sometime in January 2006. Well see what happens!

Mamaroneck Ladder 21 called to stand by in Port Chester Fire Headquaters.

Ex- L41 will be working in Port Chester somtime next Mon or Tues. Will be Ladder tested tomm. ( Fri.) Need to install a radio and siren. L-31 O.O.S. till further notice due to ladder testing failure 2 weeks ago. Up in the air in what the village is going to do now since they knew about this since last year. As usual village has no money either.. Were looking at all options now.. Fixing the ladder, New tiller, Rear-mount, getting an old FDNY tiller and refurbishing it.. should be interesting.. will keep you all posted.
