May sound kind of dumb but... wont that nice paint job and decals on the side burn/melt off when being used? Curious to see how the inside is configured.

Does anyone know what the tracks are used for that merge with the Metro North tracks in New Rochelle? Im pretty sure they go down thru the Bronx towards E Tremont someplace but have never seen any trains go down it. Are these the tracks for the new Yankee Stadium stop? Amtrak? Out of service? In Port Chester full dept. responses are called for all schools during occupied/potentially occupied hours. However there is usually an engine or two and ladder that remains off the call staying in service incase of another run.

I was wondering the same thing, they sailed a US Nuclear powered aircraft carrier about 300 miles to pick up this girl, she also got a helicopter ride. Crazy.

The workers just finished putting up all the holiday lights next door to me at Bloomingdales on Lexington Ave last week. The window displays should be opening soon as well. If you ask me at least 2 maybe 3 weeks too early, but the last post is right, def won't argue holiday sales are bad!

From the reference in the article there was a mere 40-60 seconds from the time someone called in until the FD's were dispatched, I can't see how people can be angry with that, in this case sadly from the videos made public a firehouse 1 block away may not have made a difference.
