  14. Try going back and getting a size either bigger or wider usually helps.
  15. First arriving person takes command and can not relinquish it unless to another officer or unless scene is no longer dangerous. The officer on this rig clearly did not delegate command to the appropriate person, dispatchers are not command. The officer of the rig should be penalized for putting others at jeoprady, what if the fire spread to brush etc..., even if to stay there and do nothing but watch for others until the proper dept arrived. Must of had something good on TV to get back to lol.
  16. This just shows how bad meth is, this kid tried to make more out of his pee. Rather Disturbing.

  22. Port chester village has taken time to revamp their website and add some new features and pictures. The fire department page is excellent. Check it out if you have a minute. www.portchesterny.com
  23. Does anyone in the area have a ladder truck that can go over the normal 95 or 100 feet? This may include a straight ladder or even a bucket. How about FDNY do they have anything of the sort given the height of many of the buildings?
  24. That is almost double the length of normal ladders, I hear ya on that one, I had a hell of a time getting a vic down 1 flight of stairs never mind 175' of aerial. Here is the link to an aerial metz made it was 203 feet! They look like a formidable company, wonder why not too many places around seem to have these versatile ladders? Something must be wrong with em http://www.metz-apparatus.com/about.html
  25. Awesome, the smaller font is a much bigger help.~!
